Hier, wegen so Sachen wie dem Kram hier mag ich immer noch Punk Rock, obwohl das Genre doch eigentlich schon seit 40 Jahren tot und überholt ist. Nehmt ein bisschen Schnoddrigkeit von Jay Reatard, schmeisst die zweitausend Verzerrer von den Booji Boys und das Songwriting aller kanadischen Garage Punk Bands in den Fleischwolf und schon habt ihr den Sound von the Mark Vodka Group.
Schöne Titel und Texte, großartiges kleines Album. Angeblich schon 2 Jahre alt, das ganze Zeug, aber das macht ja nichts bei so einer Art von Musik, ne? Wenn man schon anachronistisch ist, kommts auch nicht auf ein paar Jährchen mehr oder weniger an.
Das Demo ist auch richtig gut. Ich muss das mal auf Platte rausbringen.
Im übrigen hätte das hier als Beschreibung gereicht:
all these songs except for "goon" are like 2 years old now but they mean the same now as they meant then – absolutely nothing.
